Chris Eddy and Marion Joffrion are the founders and principals of the Company that was created to facilitate the development and construction of residential communities & dwe llings. The Company is a Licensed Commercial Contractor in the State of Louisiana and acts as the General Contractor for all of its internal projects. The Company is diversified in land acquisition, development and construction, specializing in value oriented single and multi-family communities in Southeast Louisiana . With well-versed backgrounds, the founders bring over 40 years of combined experience in business management, real estate purchasing & sales, development and construction to the Company. The Company has aligned itself with subcontractors and support companies that have proven themselves through experience with the principals on other projects. The subcontractors that are utilized on projects have meet or exceeded the Company's expectations in the past. The Company focuses on opportunities that allow a profitable business plan through the integration of the designing and the building of the entire community, including the individual dwe llings. By controlling the neighborhood environment, the Company can ensure a uniformed look and a high standard for construction that will ultimately help maintain the value of the properties that are sold. The design and construction process of all projects will center on long-term appearance and low cost maintenance . Within set guidelines, homebuyers will select features and finishes that make their home unique. The Company employ's architects and interior designers to make certain the whole community results in the true Company vision. The Company acquired a 1.5-acre tract of land located at 9889 Old Hammond Highway in order to develop Redstick Lofts. The proposed project for the parcel consists of approximately 28 condominium units. This particular piece of land was perfect for the project due to its location, size, layout and price. The plot will allow for a single private street to be easily constructed down the middle (as indicated by the attached preliminary layout) thus allowing for the property to be easily fenced with maximum utilization of square footage, and thus a very favorable price per square foot to the purchasers.
The Company selected Urban Lofts of Houston Texas ( www.urbanlofts.com ) as the architect and designer for this project and entered into a license agreement for this development. Utilizing Urban Lofts as the architect and designer of the project will allow the Company access to their knowledge, and proven business model of success, that they have experienced in Houston , Dallas and Atlanta in the building of over 900 of this type of units. Urban Lofts will provide much of the back office support and expertise in order to make this particular development a success. |
